The hot and dry desert has an annual temperature of about 20 to 25 degrees celsius. There are occasions when it may reach to about 43.5 to 49 degrees celsius. The lowest temperature it may reach is -18 degrees celsius. Some deserts receive less than 1.5 centimeters of rain annually, but in the United States, the deserts receive 28 centimeters of rain annually in some places. The semiarid desert has an annual temperature of 21 to around 27 degrees celsius. It does not go over 38 degrees celsius. Toward the evening it becomes cool and it may reach 10 degrees celsius. The average rainfall is 2 to 4 centimeters a year in some parts of the world.
coastal desert
The average temperature for the coastal desert during the summer is 13 to 24 degrees celsius. In the winter, it can be 5 degrees celsius or even lower. The average rainfall is 8 to 13 centimeters, but it can sometimes be 37 centimeters of rain. The average temperature for this desert is 35 degrees celsius. The soil is good for plants since most of the rain goes through it.

The average temperature during the winter is -2 to -4 degrees celsius, but the average temperature for the cold desert during the winter is 21 to 26 degrees celsius. The average rainfall is 15 to 26 centimeters. On some occasions it has rained up to 45 centimeters and the lowest it has ever rained is 9 centimeters.
